In the kitchen

  1. Tea towels. For a dose of french chic in a lovely linen

  2. Tea pot. Autumnal colour; time for a brew

  3. Coffee scoop. Tactile, sleek.

  4. Plaster moulding. Easy to hang. Sneak this in under a run of upper cabinets

  5. Cast bronze hook. Strong and pretty sexy if you ask me

  6. Jug. Fired just down the road by lovely Simon. A must for pouring cream on your crumble

On the table

  1. Candlestick holder. Granted, not an heirloom piece but all the more fun for it

  2. Hobnail tumbler. Jo has some like these which I always want to steal

  3. Mustard pot. Grab yourself a basil plant at the supermarket and lob it in here

  4. Candles. Wiggly, chic and look great with autumn veg slung down your table, as you do…

  5. Tablecloth. Bargain, good design, love the colours

  6. Pebble? Object? Tis the season for dried flowers- add them to this and enjoy

Hunker down in the living room

  1. Matches. Compton marbling is just a lovely set up. All hand done, lovely wrapping paper too.

  2. Wicker storage. Dunelm is sneaking through lots of nicely designed and well priced pieces at the moment- great for slinging toys or magazines into

  3. Lampshade. For a simple update in a range of colours

  4. Beeswax candle. Lovely Northumberland bees- 45 odd hour burn time

  5. Vase. Jolly, would lift an all white scheme, use dried flowers

  6. Print. One of my fave Paula Rego paintings- enormous in real life- get it here as a print. She means business…

Easy-ish DIY

  1. Tiles. Cloakroom? Elevate it with a run of reclaimed tiles. Measure first, make sure you don’t have to make any cuts and away you go OR

  2. Tiles. Add some self adhesive little felt stickers to the bottom and use as coasters

  3. Chalk Paint. Oxford Navy, Sobell house donation with each purchase. Easy upgrade for a picture frame

  4. Knob. Khaki and lovely- touch points make a difference in houses

  5. Storage. Simple, bargainous options for the kitchen or bathroom

  6. Glass painting. An easy hang from a local business, framed and ready to go

Time for a soak

  1. Hand towel. Baina have some interesting patterns and colours. How about one for yourself that no one else gets to use?

  2. Boujis bath salts. Yes please.

  3. Toothbrush storage. Whack yours in this delightful vessel

  4. Lamp. Battery operated.

  5. Brass frame. Simple to clean and great for housing inexpensive art that might get steamy- try a postcard in here for a quick lift

  6. Plant. Bit of a picky gal but she bears up well in a steamy bathroom with some decent light. Sounds like I’m describing myself.

And there we have it. Truth be told I ended up with such an enormous list of excellent things that it was a bit galling having to trim it to just 30…
